Rodeos are part of the Montana ethos, a living tradition that represents the state’s western heritage and true grit. The spirited competitions, such as saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling and barrel racing, require courage under fire and skill; reckless abandon at high consequence. They recapture a bygone era and preserve an age-old identity. They carry on family legacies. In the past three months, I spent several evenings photographing at rodeo arenas across the valley, watching this latest generation of cowboys and cowgirls compete in a time-honored tradition. To me, rodeo culture encompasses all the great values of our state: brawn, hard work and dedication to your craft. These athletes are some of the toughest around, working tirelessly to perfect technique so they are ready when their name is called. Memphis (NCAA) to get new basketball court floor design

first_imgSo its basically Bridge, Skyline, Both, or Neither? Not really a design vote, more of a “how far can we push this” question. For what I know about Memphis I don’t think the skyline is signature (like seattle, new york, paris) and the bridge is kinda clunky. So I’d say nothing. And also the logo is way too big at center courtall of this. Share this post Followers 0 Sports Logos Sports Logo News 333 0 So its basically Bridge, Skyline, Both, or Neither? So I’d say nothing. And also the logo is way too big at center courtI think you hit on the problem with these designs. The center court logo is way too big to have all of that other stuff included with it. If you leave the huge logo by itself like #4, it looks ok…with the other stuff, it looks too cluttered and messy. Also, not singling out these designs but I don’t like the trend of leaving the 3 point area AND the lane unpainted with only the light/dark wood grain. One of them should be colored in.
